Interpretation
The lyrics of the song "Neuruppin" by
K.I.Z. are about a protagonist who is described as the spider-man and sneaks around the neighborhood. He confesses that he has been thinking about the person he is referring to for a hundred years. He feels hungry and breaks into a house to take revenge. Although he is not a thief, he uses long fingers to take things. He takes the person's hand and checks if it can swim.
In the swamp where he is, he has no heart, but he wants to see the other person's heart. It tastes good when he bites into the heart and feels the adrenaline rush. The person's father can do nothing but hate him, as his zombies threaten him with stabbing weapons.
The protagonist describes himself as a hungry backwoodsman with a hatchet, a degenerate psychopath, and a demon from Wallachia. He takes the person to a place of no return, at least not in one piece. He ties the person up in the basement and dismembers their body, packs the parts in bags, and hides the bloody corpse in the trunk.
He drives to a place called Neuruppin, where he commits a murder every time. There, the corpses rot in the lake next to the cursed house. The lyrics also describe a legend in the city, where everyone knows the weeping willows on the roadside.
The protagonist also describes other crimes that he and his crew commit every night. He puts on a SM leather mask and prefers to play Tetris with frozen corpses. He also describes how he slaps the devil and gets banned from hell.
The lyrics end with the protagonist going to Neuruppin every weekend to kill a different woman.
